Facilities and Layouts at Christ Church Community Centre
Indoor Multi-purpose Hall
Our bright main hall is multi-functional, offering space for a variety of activities and events. It has direct access to the kitchen for parties and social gatherings. Depending on layout, the hall can accommodate up to 60 banqueting style or 120 theatre style.
The Church
Christ Church is a calm, beautiful space that can be used for quieter, appropriate activities. It is fully carpeted and can be set out to suit the occasion.
On-site Kitchen
Our kitchen is extremely well equipped with three ovens, large hob, three microwaves, one large fridge/freezer, a hot cupboard and a commercial dishwasher. Crockery, glassware and cutlery is available for up to 70 people.
Outdoor Garden Area
Our easily accessible garden offers a relaxed environment with secure fencing making it a lovely outside space for hirers to use. A small amount of garden furniture is available on request.
Library / Meeting Room
The Library doubles up as a meeting room for smaller groups of up to ten people.
Free Car Parking
There is ample car parking space, both within the property and also on the roadside for larger gatherings.
Community Gatherings
CCCC can host local meetings, support groups and social clubs in adaptable rooms designed for connection. The Centre supports regular coffee mornings and community dinners. Spaces encourage interaction and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Classes and Workshops
Dance, yoga, tai chi and fitness classes are available in our bright and airy spaces. Both the Centre and Christ Church provide safe and comfortable environments for skill-building and wellness activities. Flexible scheduling accommodates various group sizes and needs.
Youth and Family Activities
Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts, as well as our recently formed Explorer Unit, meet regularly during term time, as does Little Fishes Baby and Toddler Group. Activities can also be enjoyed outside in our secure garden space.
Private Hire and Special Events
For your family celebrations, there are two spaces available to hire:
- a large, well-ventilated main hall with option of fully equipped, catering-standard kitchen adjacent
- a smaller meeting room for up to 10 people.
Wi-Fi available throughout.
All areas have access to tea making facilities and toilets (including disabled and baby changing). Small garden, ample foyer and parking space available to enhance your event.
